[Riff 3] x4 /w lyrics: Listen to my music, and hear what it can do. There's something here as strong as life. I know that it will reach you. [Riff 1] x4 /w lyrics: Yes we know, it's nothing new. It's just a waste of time. We have no need for ancient ways. Our world is doing fine. Another toy which helped destroy the elder race of man. Forget about your silly whim, it doesn't fit the plan. No-how. [Riff 2a] x1 /w lyrics: I can't believe you're saying, these things just can't be true. [Riff 2b] x1 /w lyrics: Our world could use such beauty, just think what we might do. [Riff 3] x4 /w lyrics: Listen to my music, and hear what it can do. There's something here as strong as life. I know that it will reach you. [Riff 1] x4 /w lyrics: Don't annoy us further, oh, we have our work to do. Just think about the average. What use have they for you? Another toy which helped destroy the elder race of man. Forget about your silly whim, it doesn't fit the plan. [Riff 4] x8 under [Guitar Solo] w/ wah-wah and in the key of D [Riff 5] x1 This Rush song is the culmination of many hours of work. It is not 100% complete, but every effort has been made to include as much as possible. Part IV does not include the solo. This is so that you can experiment :). The key is D. Part VI now includes the solo! I worked it out but there are still some omissions because the wah-wah makes the notes unclear. It sounds easy enough to tab, so eventually I will do it. Part VII does not include the solo either. Crank up the wah-wah pedal and go wild. The key is E. Now I can claim that this work is original, since the solo I took from the other tab was (partially) wrong and I replaced it with what I hope is the correct version. Previous versions (part I & II) were done by Blake Butterworth and also Ian Schmidt (last known address: irsman@iastate.edu). I have tried contacting Ian, but without success. Joost de Moel tabbed Discovery (part III) and I have corrected it and incorporated the free time section into this tab. There are many other corrections. Branden Robinson helped out greatly.
