A:-------------------------------------------------------------------| D:-------------------------------------------------------------------| (slow dive) (bar) (dive) Remarks: One of Rush's more simple songs, but the arrangement does change enough to keep things interesting. Observe the dropped-D tuning. It appears to be in D minor and 4/4 the whole time, but I haven't done a careful harmonic or rhythmic analysis. Note that for the second and third verses, the second half of riff B is played an additional time at the beginning; if you listen to the song you'll have no trouble figuring it out. Lots of whammy in the solo. It seems to divide its time between D minor and A minor (most of the solo happens in the pentatonic minor box at the 10th position, but the unison bends are A's). High levels of gain and feedback will help with executing some passages without having to re-articulate notes. A floating tremolo system helps with this one.
