Ripper2000 is a PC based editor for the Digitech RP2000 guitar processor.

The program interfaces with the RP through the MIDI ports and allows 
changing of parameters, upload and download of patch data and System Exclusive
dumps.

Requirements:

Windows 95/98/2000
Minimum Pentium 133.
        Memory ??

MIDI Interface - In and Out.

Digitech RP2000 (duh)

Getting Started.

1. Plug everything in.  
    MIDI Out from PC to MIDI In on RP.
    MIDI Out from RP to MIDI In on PC.

2. Run Ripper2000.

3. On first run, it will indicate that the MIDI ports need to be setup.
    Goto Tools->Setup and select your MIDI ports.  They will probably 
    be the same for in and out.

4. If you want the program to send Continuous Controller (CC) commands,
   select Send CC under the Tools menu.  You need to set this EVERY time
   the program starts.

5. Push the buttons, change the values, have fun.

6. Read the Help (when I get around to it.)

First version released that most stuff actually works.

    Stuff that works.

    - Sends CC commands.
    - Upload/Download single patch sysex
    - RP Keypad
    - Save internal format patches.
    - Send Patch Change commands.
    - Save/Load SysEx single patch.

    Stuff that doesn't.  (Why do I include this? Because buttons are there
                          but aren't functional.)

    - Full Bulk dump.

Release 0.0.2 Alpha. (Like my numbering scheme?)

    - Bug Fixes.
        - WahPitch Popup.  Fixed Dropdown list of WahPitch types.
        - All Popups. Fixed alignment and color for data display boxes.
        - Effect Pre/Post on main screen fixed.
        - Removed non-working Menu items (Edit, View)
        - Setup Data Directory Browse now works.
        - Added Minimize button to main screen.
        - Fixed some file i/o issues.
        - Maybe more!
        
    - New Stuff
        - Save and Load on Parameter Popups. (Don't forget you can click 
          the buttons at the bottom of each column.)
          BE CAREFUL!  If you load a param set from a different effect,
          like loading reverb into wah/pitch - it'll generate an error message, 
          or worse.

Re-Release 0.2 Alpha.

    - There was some weird problem with the first release of version 0.2.
      It crashed on my 98 machine with a access violation error.

Release Alpha 0.3       (Look a new numbering system. )

    - Bug fixes.
        - Fixed the WahPitch list AGAIN. 
        - Fixed the Reverb list on the popup. 
        - Fixed the Wah Harmony popups.
        - Fixed slider titles.
        - Fixed some of the parameter descriptions.
        - Fixed the Harmony Scale and Key functions.
        - Rearranged some of the popups.
        - Removed non-working buttons.
        
    - New Stuff
        - Added AutoSend CC to all popups.  This sends the change immediately instead of 
          when the Apply or OK buttons are used.
        - Made Send CC set to ON as the default.
